Description: The West African Dance Group (WADG) was founded by beautiful, illustrious, and creative African women on the UCI campus in 2008. WADG dancers collaborate and create choreography that portrays a fusion of West African and East African modern and old school moves. Although some of the dancers on the team are not African, they welcome people from every ethnic background with open arms. The West African Dance Group is bound in unity not only by their love for African music and dance but also by the special bond they share as a family.
