Department Re-Charge Form
UCI departments can pay for a campus organization’s registration fee ($50) via a department re-charge. This form must be filled out by a student signer of the campus organization and must be signed by the Account Manager of the paying UCI department. Student Liability Insurance Application
The University of California has created an insurance program to cover RCOs for most on-campus events (e.g., low and medium risk events). Events covered by the policy are paid for by the University. However, RCOs are responsible for making sure their event is covered. As you plan your event, it’s essential that you make the appropriate insurance arrangements. Don’t put it off; take care of the insurance now!
Fraternity & Sororities: RCOs that already have an insurance source, such as fraternities and sororities with national chapters are ineligible for RCO Event Liability coverage. If an insurance source cannot or will not provide coverage for an on-campus event, you may apply for coverage through the TULIP (Tenant User Liability Insurance Program) program.

If your organization is working with an off-campus vendor, please remember that all vendors working with the RCO must apply for TULIP-Tenant Users Liability Insurance. Vendors can apply for this insurance online.

Request for Letter of Authenticity
Often times a third party (e.g., off campus banks, non-profit organizations, etc.) will ask for organizations to verify that they are an official RCO at UC Irvine. This type of verification can be provided through a letter of authenticity. Your RCO can request a letter of authenticity from the Office of Campus Organizations (Student Center, G306) in person or via e-mail. If you are e-mailing a request, please include the following information:
- Your Name,
- Your E-mail
- Your Phone Number
- RCO
- Addressee (Who the letter is addressed to)
Email information to campusorgs@uci.edu. Please allow 3-5 business days for the letter to be processed. You will be contacted once the letter is ready for you to pick up from our office. If you are requesting a PDF version of the document, please indicate so in your request
