Want to win funding for your org? Are you interested in strengthening teamwork and relationships within your org?
Sponsored by Campus Organizations & Volunteer Programs (COVP), in collaboration with Campus Recreation, this funding board strives to provide team-building opportunities for registered campus organizations (RCOs) through the ARC’s (Anteater Recreation Center) Team Up Challenge! Funding will be given to RCOs looking to further develop board and general members in their organization.
Send in your application for the Team Building Funding Board for the opportunity to win up to $250 in funding to participate in different team-building activities provided by the Anteater Recreation Center!
About the Program
The Team Up! program will inspire your team to support one another, communicate effectively, problem-solve efficiently, build cohesive relationships, and take calculated risks. It is designed to build self-confidence, teamwork, communication, awareness of strengths and limitations, trust, respect for others, and coping skills for dealing with stress and anxiety.
The Team Building Funding Board provides up to $250 in funding for RCOs to participate in the ARC’s Discovery or Odyssey program during Winter & Spring Quarter:
The Discovery Program includes ground activities and initiatives only. Ground activities include using ropes, soft throwables, hula hoops, blindfolds, and more with different parameters and rules to create a challenge for the group to overcome.
The Odyssey Program begins with activities and challenges on the ground, with your group then progressing to the high ropes Odyssey course. Teams must work together to overcome obstacles and challenges while high in the air, ending at the dual zip lines!
