ASUCI Student Programming Funding Board

The Student Programming Funding Board (SPFB) is one of the two branches a part of ASUCI funding board under the Office of the President. SPFB is comprised of funds from student fees, therefore, all events that SPFB funds must be open to the general public and target all UCI undergraduate students. SPFB does not fully fund charity events – in the case of charity events, loans may be issued. This funding board aims to maintain objectivity by operating fully on a rubric scale system and does not provide any arbitrary funds. Information: email SPFB@asuci.uci.edu

The Green Initiative Fund

The Green Initiative Fund (TGIF) is a grant-making fund for sustainability projects on UC Irvine’s campus. About $110,000 per academic year is available for grants; any undergraduate students, organizations, or collaboratives between organizations are eligible to submit project proposals.

SOAR’s Outreach Sponsorship

Student Outreach and Retention Center provides funding to student organizations that plan to outreach to prospective students. Refer to this for more information.

Team Building Funding Board

Sponsored by Campus Organizations & Volunteer Programs (COVP), in collaboration with Campus Recreation. This funding board strives to provide team building opportunities for registered campus organizations (RCO’s) through the ARC’s (Anteater Recreation Center) Team Up Challenge. Funds will be given to RCO’s who are looking to further develop board and general members in their organization.

Campus Life Grants

Sponsored by Campus Organizations & Volunteer Programs (COVP), Campus Life Grants strive to support registered campus organizations (RCOs) by providing funding for items that increase campus engagement. RCOs can be awarded funding for club-branded banners, club-branded table covers, canopies, on-campus event venue costs, and other materials to pave the foundation for RCOs. Policies and special criteria apply, review the policies before applying.

Multicultural Programs Committee Funding Board

MPFC allocates funding to eligible student organizations that are seeking to promote the Cross-Cultural Center’s values through programming. RCOs seeking to host programs and events that foster and encourage diversity, education, and social justice are eligible to apply. Collaborative programming between campus organizations is highly encouraged.  Click here for more information.

Student Initiated Program (SIP)

The Student Initiated Program (SIP) Excellence Grants are available for UCI undergraduate registered campus organizations (RCO). Each RCO is welcome to apply for funding from both programs, but will only be awarded once for the duration of the academic year.

Cultural Graduation Celebration Grant

The Cultural Graduation Celebration funding offers supplementary assistance for cultural graduation celebratory events organized by Registered Campus Organizations (RCOs). This funding supports RCOs in honoring the diverse cultural traditions and achievements of graduating seniors. Eligible RCOs in good standing with the Office of Campus Organizations & Volunteer Programs can access this funding source. APPLICATIONS OPEN JANUARY 22, 2025
