The Best New Student Organization Award honors an organization that was created this academic year (July 2022-Present) and has successfully maintained a strong membership base, made outstanding progress in achieving its organization’s goals, and sponsored campus-wide programs and events throughout the academic school year.

The Most Outstanding Student Organization Award recognizes an organization that has made a significant impact in the UC Irvine community through an unwavering commitment to further its mission and achieve its goals. This organization has contributed to the betterment of the campus community through remarkable activities and events, and provides its members with a memorable campus involvement experience.

The Outstanding Environmental & Sustainability Program Award is given to the organization that promotes environmental consciousness and sustainability in the community through programs, workshops, and/or events. The organization not only educates its members on sustainability practices and issues, but also educates the UCI community through program implementation and service projects.

The Outstanding Educational Outreach Program Award recognizes an organization that bridges UCI with other educational institutions. This organization initiates educational outreach programs that bring students to their next educational steps through k-12 or community college outreach. Through these efforts, the organization makes an impact that extends beyond the realm of the UCI campus.

The Outstanding Multicultural Award honors an organization that promotes and educates the UC Irvine campus community about cultural and ethnic awareness and initiates collaborative efforts with local community members, such as student organizations, academic and staff departments, and community partners.

The Outstanding Membership Retention Award recognizes a campus organization that promotes positive academic achievement and personal support to all its members in order to keep them active within the organization. This award is given to an organization that values both academic and individual growth along with the organization’s mission and goals.

The Outstanding Academic Enhancement Program Award is given to an organization that has created a program/workshop/event to promote academic enrichment for current UCI students. This org contributes to the academic development of its members and initiates collaborative efforts with the campus. This organization is able to apply classroom knowledge in their programs to further support the organization’s missions and goals.

This award aims to recognize an organization that has an outstanding graphic design. We are looking for graphic designs with creativity, intentionality, and a holistic representation of what the organization is all about. (This can be represented through a T-shirt design, stickers, club logo, event flyer etc.)

This award honors an organization who remains connected with Alumni members who have graduated from UCI. This organization aims to provide current members with career knowledge, guidance, and potential opportunities through the process of engaging Alumni members.

The Outstanding Service Initiative Award recognizes innovative projects developed by the organization that has significantly contributed to the UC Irvine community. Outstanding projects have demonstrated growth over time and have created opportunities for other members of the UC Irvine community to become involved in the project. The organization addresses community needs, promotes social responsibility, and raises awareness about community needs through these projects.

Examples of projects include community and civic engagement projects, community service events and volunteer opportunities.

The Best Community Outreach Award celebrates the organization that has worked extensively to establish a supportive relationship with community members outside of UCI. Whether it’s through a partnership or a collaboration on a project, this organization has represented the UCI student body well in its effort to interact and be involved with the local community.

The Best Performance Organization honors a performance/entertainment organization who utilizes opportunities on- and/or off- campus to showcase their performances and to foster campus pride. This award is given to an organization that values building inclusive communities, and is able to utilize their performance to reflect their dedication and passion for performing.

The Outstanding Professional and Career Development Award recognizes an organization that has adopted programs, workshops, or other resources focused on professionalism and career development. This organization has made significant strides toward assisting their members in their professional and career goals. They have provided an organized environment in which members can learn from and ask questions to experts in their field.

The Outstanding Mentorship Program Award acknowledges an organization that has developed a peer mentorship program for current UCI students to educate their members on topics such as career development, college advice, and other life skills/necessities. This program has allowed for its members to establish personal and professional relationships that help guide and support them throughout their academic quarter/year.

The Most Outstanding Sorority & Fraternity Life (SFL) Organization Award recognizes a chapter that has made a significant impact in the UC Irvine community through an unwavering commitment to further its mission and achieve its goals. This organization has contributed to the betterment of the campus community through remarkable activities, events, and provides its members with a memorable campus involvement experience.

The Most Outstanding Club Sports Award recognizes an organization that has excelled in leadership and competition. This organization has shown success in leadership transition year after year, and positively impacts the UCI Community. Beyond meeting or exceeding the expectations of the Club Sports Department, this club has achieved high accolades in

The Outstanding Hobbies & Interests Organization Award is given to a Hobbies & Interests organization that has worked extensively to unite individuals around shared hobbies and interests. This organization fosters a sense of community and personal growth, creating a vibrant, engaging, and inclusive campus experience.
